You know it’s been a hectic week when you’re writing your goals out for this week on Wednesday. They’ve been in my head all week though!
- First off I am going to try and beat my PR time for my 10k this weekend. I am going to keep trying to improve my 10k time, until I start 1/2 marathon training.
- I am going to continue to stretch after my runs. Before I would almost never stretch. Now it feels so nice to flop down on the floor, stretch and drink water.
- Two strength workouts this week. Even if they’re just a few moves, for a couple of circuits, something is better than nothing, and I want to get into strength training now BEFORE I start training for the half.
- I also am going to try one of the Nike Run App’s guided runs! Last time I tried it I accidentally clicked out of the whole thing! They have runs guided by Shalane Flanagan, Paula Radcliffe, Meb and more!
In the back of my mind, I’m keeping these fun weekend beach memories from Sunday all day long.
